Great is Your Faithfulness.

In East Asia, there was a shopping center we went to a few times a week.  The shops all tried to bring in customers by setting up loud speakers outside their doors, and either playing very bumpy electronic music or setting a recording on repeat.  When we would prayer walk, we noticed that the music seemed to get louder, as if the enemy was trying to drown out our prayers.  The beautiful thing is that God's hearing knows no bounds.  Nothing placed in front of our mouths, nothing louder than our voices, could ever prevent God from hearing our cries.  I giggled in joy at the thought tonight, because I realized I had nothing to fear. Tonight, when I broadcast my thankfulness for the place the Lord has me in, and began to sit in gratefulness for the roles He has given me, the enemy tried attacking me, provoking me.  I got momentarily agitated, and then began to smile.  I remembered that the enemy attacks when he feels threatened, when he's losing.  And a burst of joy from the Holy

1. Time to invest in my junior high girls. 2. New gray Vans. 3. Peonies for days at work. 4. Yoga multiple times this week. 5. Getting hours at work. 6. Prayers answered. 7. Time in prayer and fellowship with coworkers. 8. Tea. 9. Harry Potter. 10. Family. thank you, Jesus. for the important things. and the little things. and for teaching me thankfulness . and sending the Holy Spirit to manifest fruits in my life, knowing I cannot do it alone. I love You.

Top Ten Blessings This Past Week: {1} Praying my mija out today as she embarks on a service project across the world. {2} Learning about God's desire for the ekklesia with our high schoolers. {3} Paying my car off! {4} Two of my favorite kinds of weather (75° + sunny, and rainy-cozy). {5} My car's door lock part thingy-ma-bob getting fixed. {6} Iced tea at the Daily Brew. {7} Sweet time in fellowship at the Sunday night Bible study. {8} Finishing Hebrews at church. {9} Trail walk with Izzy boo. {10} Purchasing Microsoft Office... now motivated to write my résumé. ♥
